About the Training Band
The training band was formed in 2001 and has grown from a handful of starters to around 20 regular players
Under a new musical director, the band is building its musical repertoire by playing a wide range of music.
We have strong links with Dronfield band, through joint concerts, rehearsals and events. This enables players from the training band to progress through the ranks into the competition band.

The Training Band can accommodate all brass instruments at any standard from absolute beginner through to more experienced players. We currently have players as young as 6 years old along with more senior members.
